Congratulations on your newly tinted windows!

Caring for newly installed window tint is easy. We have made a list of a few things to keep your tint looking great throughout the life of the warranty.

Keep your windows rolled up Brand-new tinted windows provide instant benefits, but the adhesive does not cure immediately. It may take up to 4 days to set, therefore, rolling down your windows before it cures may cause the tint to peel.

DON’T worry about haziness or water pockets It is completely normal—and temporary to notice haziness and little water pockets forming underneath the film, but don’t do anything. For the first few days after application your windows might appear hazy or cloudy due to excess water between the glass and film. Window film is porous, and the water will evaporate on its own. Evaporation time depends on the weather—hot, sunny environments will dry the film quickest, but in general it takes anywhere from two days to up to a month.

DON'T clean your windows Wait 7 days before having your car washed, as the tinted film needs time to cure. Once you do clean them, a light wipe with a microfiber cloth or soft paper towel is sufficient because the tint is applied on the inside of the window. We recommend using a cleaner WITHOUT ammonia.

DON’T assume tint is invincible Tinted film is quite durable, and the scratch-resistant coating on quality tint products is great for protecting your car windows from everyday use. Scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof. There are still several ways you can unintentionally scratch the film. Be careful when loading and unloading anything with sharp or hard edges like sporting equipment and when putting on your seat belt.
